New Account!

Took longer than I thought, but I have created a new account!
I am still debating on whether or not to delete this account. For now, I will keep it up, but may at least delete some of the content over time. Perhaps I will use this as an alternate account for posting fanart.
My new account will not feature (or at least will feature very little) fanart let alone Sonic fanart. And I know this is what most of my audience here watches me for. Although I still enjoy drawing the characters from time to time, my new account will be for uploading art of more serious subject matters. It will eventually include paintings (acrylic and watercolor), pencil drawings, concept art for personal projects, and pieces to document my journey of becoming more comfortable and adept at digital painting/drawing.
I will be very slow to uploading content the first month or two, as I am just beginning to get into a serious groove of drawing regularly. I still have warming up to do after drawing so little over the years!
So, if anyone is at all still interested in following me despite the changes in subject matter of my work, you can find my new account here:

Returning to DA!

Greetings!!
Wow, it has been quite a long time since I have posted on here. I have debated deactivating this account time and time again over the years, but I see that people continue to enjoy the stuff that is in my gallery so I have kept this account up despite never uploading anything new.
Recently I have renewed my passion for drawing and I am considering either becoming active on this account once more or creating a new account entirely very soon. I still enjoy drawing Sonic the Hedgehog characters, which is what remains the most popular in my gallery, but I have larger scaled projects (that I won't go into detail here...it's a surprise!!) that I want to share with you guys, as well.
So stay tuned for some sort of activity within the next few weeks!!
An update with where I am in my life right now if you guys are interested:
I'm finishing up my fourth year of college majoring in biology. I have to take an extra semester next fall so I won't be graduating until next year. I'm taking this summer and my extra semester to look into graduate school for a Master's Program in Ecology. I hope to eventually get a PhD in this field and go into academics, but I'm still figuring out what I want to specialize in.
Without this turning into a vent session, I would just like to say that I have evolved a lot as a person over the past 6 or so years that I have been away from this site, and I have been fighting demons that I am still struggling to completely fend off. But today, I have finally decided that I am going to try to pursue my full potential...everything that I am and was meant to truly be. It'll be hard, and I'll probably procrastinate a lot at first, but I'm already taking baby steps. I know you guys don't understand what I'm talking about, and maybe one day I will share my full story with you guys. But for now, I'm saying this more as a promise to myself more than anything.
If you're reading this, thanks for sticking around this long. If you only just starting watching me without realizing I've been inactive for pretty much an eternity...well, you are in luck! I'm coming back one way or another!!

Like, omg I am alive..geeze after what, like 2 years or something. I'm really still not back, I don't know if I'll ever be, but I do keep an eye on things once in a while and on rare occasion reply to people's comments. However, the real reason I'm making this journal is that apparently some user stole one of my drawings and posted it in his gallery. I just would really appreciate it if people would report him. I've done so already, although I'm not sure if it got sent through or not. o-o;;; This is the exact reason why I probably may never upload anything new here, although I do have some pretty cool stuff I'm working on. I wish I could show, but I am just too afraid of people stealing things of mine. I mean, really...sometimes I'll come across one of my drawings on some website or something and wonder how it got there lol.

School started...

....so I'm not going to be able to be online a lot. Not like you guys aren't used to me saying this anyway. |DD My stupid advance classes give me sooo much homework I feel like I'm going to die. I had 2 and a half hours of science homework on Thursday. DDDDX So, I'm sorry if I won't be replying back to people's comments or if I won't be commenting on people's art. I'll only really be able to get online during the weekend. -_-;; And for the people who have been asking me lately....sorry, but I'm not doing requests. I only made an exception to do an art trade with 
because I felt I wasn't so busy at the time. (I still have to draw the pic though.) So...yeah.....*fades away*

I know I haven't been updating my gallery lately, but I did finish quite a few pictures so I'll be sure to upload those soon.
But, omg....I went to the movie theater a couple of days ago and saw The Dark Knight, and it was frickin AWESOME. Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) did an absolutely fantastic job as the Joker!! It is, like, a 2 and 1/2 hour movie but it is so worth it. I also saw Iron Man awhile ago which was an amazing movie as well. But if you haven't seen The Dark Knight yet, GO SEE IT NOW! Unless, of course, you're not into those kind of movies.
Other than seeing a bunch of movies, I haven't really gone anywhere for vacation because I've been having to help my brother fix up his new house.
Sorry, if I haven't been answering a lot of my messages or haven't commented on any deviations. I've just been trying to relax and enjoy my summer while it lasts. I have about a month left of summer vacation. (School starts on September 2nd for me). I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! = )
